CBaySystems announces results of its 2006 Customer Satisfaction Survey.

CBay's overall quality, turnaround time, customer service, and technology get high marks from customers.

Annapolis, MD - October 17, 2006 CBaySystems a leading provider of transcription services to the healthcare industry, today announced the results of their 2006 Customer Satisfaction Survey.

The findings were based on surveys received from nearly 400 CBay customers. Customers were asked to rate a variety of categories including: quality, turnaround time (TAT), customer service, and technology. The Rating System for all survey questions was based on the following scale: Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, and Poor.

Specifically, the survey showed that customers rated CBay's quality highly — with 93% of customers saying they would recommend CBay's services to others. Customers also gave high ratings to the following quality categories: overall satisfaction with the CBay Package, Medical Terminology Usage, Formatting, and Demographics.

The survey also indicated high satisfaction with CBay's customer service. With 95% of survey respondents rating customer service as good and above. Other statistics were as follows:

  • 95% of CBay customers rated customer service from the Sales and Quality Department as good and above.
  • 96% rated the customer service from the Technical Support Department as good and above.
  • CBay's "Value of Service vs. Cost" was rated good and above by 93% of their customers.

CBay utilizes global resources and employs more than 5,000 medical transcriptionists in order to deliver fast turnaround to their customers. The survey showed that turnaround time scored highest with customers — 98% of customers rated CBay's turnaround time as good and above.

Another area of the Customer Satisfaction Survey focused on CBay's technology platform. CBay provides hospitals and physician practices with a secure, HIPAA-compliant technology platform that manages medical transcription records at every stage of their lifecycle — automating everything from dictation and routing to transcription and archiving via the web. Results from the survey pertaining to technology were:

  • 97% of customers rated the software/recorder usage as good and above.
  • 96% rated the software training as good and above.
  • 96% of customers rated the stability of the software as good and above.
  • 96% of customers rated the ability of the software to meet their needs as good and above.
